Good News ROC is a newish website dedicated to the truth that God loves Rochester NY and the people in it! Exciting news =>> God is on the move here, and has been for a very long time.

So, who are “the girls?” We are a group of best friends, residing in the general vicinity of Rochester NY, drawn together by the singular purpose of praying and seeking the Lord for our own needs and the needs of others.

Our friendship was birthed at a Princess House party in 1985-ish, or so. It went from a coffee klatch to what we are today when one of us said “Hey, as long as we’re together, why don’t we pray?” So we did. The miracles and answers to prayer are abundant. The story goes on and on. I guess we are “living epistles,” as Paul said.

Our group of intercessors are knit together in the love of God. Over the years we have been asked to explain ourselves. Who is our leader? (Jesus) When do we meet? (whenever) Where do we meet? (wherever) Oh, let’s face it, we are the unexplainable.* But do we have an ongoing story to tell, to the glory of God.

We want to keep the focus on the Lord and His infallible Word (the Holy Bible) so we won’t be telling much about ourselves except when it comes to the great and mighty things He has done for us …and that He wants to do it for you, too! You are loved ♥
