This is Prophetic
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We pray all is well and you are enjoying great blessings! And yes, I only could write one post – which might be a relief for you!!
Anyway, to catch up on how we got here, I thought I would share a little prophetic background with you. Thirty years ago, God gave us some insight as to what He would be doing. It came through a very accurate prophet who visited our city and declared:
“In your life, says the Lord, I’m going to harness and hook you up, says God, with Me, and we’re going to walk through this Garden of Blessing, says the Lord, and there’s much. I’m going to give you a web page, says the Lord, and I’m going to begin to do emailing. I’m going to begin to even, uh, cause interaction to go across even the internet, says the Lord, a big page, a good page where people are going to be able to click and they’re going to be able to call back and just say “I heard this in the Spirit. This is what I sense is going on in this area.”
He went on to say, prophetically, “I’m going to remove the apathy and drudgery because “I AM” is going to do the work in the hearts of people. The Lord says “This is the second time I’ve done this – I’m going to turn the hearts of the fathers to the sons and the hearts of the sons to the fathers.* I’m going to turn things around for My glory because you chose to pound the water and you chose to pound the arrows. In Jesus’s Name. Amen.” (PROPHECY TO US BY KERRY REED GIVEN ON 3/1/1999).
Please also note the Charles Finney Revival occurred in Rochester from 1830-1831 during the Second Great Awakening.
So here we are. This “word” from the Lord sat there until He gave the unction to one of our dear sisters to construct this website 30+ years later. We’ve marinated in His presence, enjoyed His wonders and miracles and got to know His love and now we trust Him more because we know Him better.
So, again, here we are, now at the last of the last days as biblically revealed. How good to know Him! How good to have pilgrimaged with Him. Bottom line, we just celebrated Yeshua’s Birthday – the day He was born a Man, though God, so He could fulfill every Messianic prophesy. He lived and died as a Man, giving His own earthly Body in order to birth a brand new eternal Body. His Bride – Us.
After all the endless theological debates, it comes down to the fact that the Godhead loves us – so much in fact, that the Father sent His only obedient, beautiful Son to die a horrid death just to rise again. So now because of Him, we are the truly loved, highly favored family of God which They desired from before the foundation of the world – just by believing and receiving.
Our confidence in Abba is that His Holy Spirit will always be helping us know and return that love, by loving Them, ourselves and everyone else. Simply put – that would make the Father, Son and Holy Spirit – let’s see … HAPPY. How wonderful to make Them happy! What a privilege! What a delight! That’s exactly what Jesus did while He was on earth – only in a much more expensive way than any of us will ever have to pay. We actually have that power and free will to make the choices which bring it about.
For me and my friends, the fruit of being loved and loving has sweetened due to the increase of time spent with the Lord, as it would with any relationship. In getting to know His heart and mind better, the process of “living” has been simplified.
For me, there are three simple steps:
- ASK Father God what He would like from me, or ask from me instead of assuming I know. Some things are already written down like “Judge not.” That means I can judge an action as right or wrong, but not my brother’s heart. I can be the “Prodigal Father” not the “Elder Brother” when dealing with difficult people.
- OBEY Him no matter who thinks you are right or wrong. Just make sure you have heard Him. He’ll make course corrections for you if you just relax and surrender.
- TRUST Him – His character is flawless – His follow-through perfection. Things may, and probably will, take longer than you think they should but may not in this time of acceleration but I’ve found that the process is “the pilgrimage” with Him, and THAT is, in fact, the blessing!
So, little thoughts but lots of love and hope sent your way. Don’t be afraid this year. He’s got you. And as He said to me “The End of the Thing is Better Than the Beginning Ever Was.”
